When to Order Jewelry for Christmas 2026 Delivery

If you are buying jewelry as a Christmas gift this year, the date you order matters more than the date you choose a design. Everything we make is made to order, one piece at a time, so there is no warehouse shelf to pull from. That is what keeps the quality high, and it is also why there is a point in December after which a piece cannot reach you in time.

Here is the short answer, and then the reasoning behind it.

The last day to order for Christmas delivery is Monday 14 December 2026

Order on or before Monday 14 December and your piece is scheduled to arrive by Christmas Eve, Thursday 24 December. Order after that and we cannot promise it lands before the 25th.

That date comes from two timings, not a guess. We take four business days to make and dispatch a piece, and express delivery takes four business days in transit. Eight business days from Monday 14 December, allowing for weekends, puts the parcel at your door on Thursday 24 December.

If you want a margin for error, and most people do when a gift matters, order by Friday 11 December instead. That schedules delivery for Wednesday 23 December and gives you one clear day of slack.

What to do if you have already missed it

Two things still work after the cut-off.

• A gift card is emailed to you within minutes, has no expiry date, and can be spent on any piece in the store. It is not a consolation prize when the gift is a ring: it lets the person choose their own stone and their own size, which is often the better outcome anyway.

• Order anyway and give a photograph. A printed picture of the actual piece being made, in an envelope on Christmas morning, with the real thing arriving in the first week of January, is a perfectly good gift. Tell us in the order notes and we will send you a photo of your piece before it ships.

Getting the ring size right without asking

Ring size is the thing most gift buyers worry about, so it is worth being plain about it. Our rings come in US sizes 2 to 13, in quarter sizes. If you do not know the size, you have a few options that do not involve giving the surprise away.

Borrow a ring she already wears on that finger and measure its inside diameter in millimetres against our printable ring size chart. If you can only get a rough idea, order the size you think is closest. A plain or partly set band can be resized by any jeweler afterwards, and a full eternity band cannot, so if you are unsure, lean towards a style that leaves resizing open.

And if the size is wrong when it arrives, that is what the returns window is for. You have 60 days, returns are free, and nothing about the holiday period shortens that.

What you are actually buying

A few facts that are worth knowing before you spend money on jewelry you have not held.

• Everything is solid gold, in 10K, 14K or 18K, and never plated. Plated jewelry wears through to the base metal underneath, usually within a year or two of daily wear. Solid gold does not, and it can be resized and repaired for decades.

• Every stone is certified. Lab grown diamonds come with IGI certification, moissanite comes with GRA certification, and natural diamonds come with GIA certification. Moissanite is its own gemstone, not a diamond, and we never describe it as one.

• Delivery is free worldwide, fully insured and tracked, and taxes are included in the price you see. There is no customs bill waiting for the person who receives it.

• Returns are free for 60 days.

Choosing something when you are not sure what they like

If you are buying for someone whose taste you cannot quite predict, our holiday jewelry gifts page is a good place to start, and the safest categories are the ones that do not depend on sizing or on a strong style opinion: a diamond pendant on a fine chain, a pair of solitaire studs, or a tennis bracelet. All three suit most wardrobes and none of them need to fit precisely.

If you are looking at engagement rings rather than gift giving, give yourself more time than the cut-off allows. Choosing a stone shape and a setting is not a one-evening decision, and a proposal ring is the one purchase where it is worth ordering in November and letting it sit in a drawer until the day.
