Frequently Asked Questions
What chain length should I choose for this necklace?
Chain length is a matter of preference and where you want the pendant to sit: 16" sits at the collarbone, 18" is the most versatile everyday length, and 20"+ sits lower for a more dramatic look. Check the size options on this page for what's available.
How much does this diamond necklace cost in solid gold?
Pricing on this diamond necklace runs from $1,377.48 (10K) to $1,554.08 (14K) to $1,766 (18K) at The Karat Store, with every option solid gold throughout.
Should I choose 10K, 14K, or 18K gold for this necklace?
18K gold gives the deepest color, 14K gold is the everyday favorite for its balance of strength and value, and 10K gold is the toughest and most budget-friendly.
How can I tell this is real solid gold and not gold-plated?
This necklace is solid gold throughout, not gold-plated — the karat purity runs all the way through the metal, not just a surface layer. Unlike plated jewelry, it won't flake, discolor, or expose base metal over time, and it carries a karat hallmark stamp as proof of authenticity.
Is this necklace durable enough for everyday wear?
Yes. Diamond rates 10 on the Mohs hardness scale, and set in solid gold, this necklace holds up well to daily wear.
How do I clean and care for this necklace at home?
Clean every few weeks with warm water, a mild soap, and a soft brush, then dry thoroughly. Take it off before applying perfume or lotion, and store it flat in its own pouch to prevent tangling and scratches.
